Object: A poetic psychodynamic email

Hello,

Did you know that René Kaës was born in the Grand East region in 1936, and inspired by Didier Anzieu’s research, he explored the psychic processes observed in organizations, such as unconscious alliances and the diffraction of transference within groups?

He was not shy to face the suffering and psychopathology of institutional ties.

He even dared to face the thanatophore, and he tamed its power by containing it with a description.

The thanatophore: a being who acts a destructiveness, externalized in the group, when radically threatened by the changes affecting the organization.

The thanatophore appeals to good feelings and immediate emotion, denouncing all criticism, systematically implementing a work of undermining, intoxication and disqualification, it attacks the conditions of thought and speech.

It usually happens at the very moment when the organization would rather ask everyone for a courageous psychic work to transform itself in its relation to its main task.
